Autism spectrum disorder is often suspected when young children stand out as being different from their peers. When a child with autism is immersed in his own world, he tends to understand other people's emotions according to his own. This feature makes transmit emotions hard.
Based on my research, I found emotional disturbance is the most common issue for autism. Because they can't read other people's emotions and their own emotions, so they can't express.

I conducted more in-depth research based on how emotional disturbances bother autistic children and the help they need in the treatment.
How to make children with autism understand other people's emotions, express their own emotions, and let others perceive their own emotions? It's a healing process, and it's also a process for parents to understand their children's emotions.
How to make a device and platform for autism families to make the treatment process easier through the emotion identification training and volatility warning, based on the AI implantation?

Based on my research, I generated the persona for both children with autism and their parents.

Low-Fidelity Wireframe
Mobile App: The parents can track the kid’s mood fluctuation, getting to know what emotions learned and expressed, even monitering the mood stability. The APP shows the relative tips and kid’s conditions.
I generated the relationship map to show how the service system work and data transmit.
Process Flow Diagram
I finalized how the system may work and establish mechanism with interaction flow. I am going to build it physically based on the diagram.
Facial Expression Recognition
Emotion Detection
When people are angry, the body is in a state of stress, and the body organs are fully mobilized, resulting in a series of physiological reactions. Children with autism don't express their emotions, and they never say it, even when angry. Over time, it will make the condition worse. There’s a senson in the device, and the smart assistant will soothe the autistic child after receiving the detected data from the sensor, so that the mood can be relaxed.
Audio Making
Design
Based on the consideration of portability and minimal disruption to life, I chose smart necklaces as wearables. Lightweight, easy to wear, and won't interfere with the life of autistic children like glasses and other devices.
